Where will I land?

I have worked in different departments while being a nurse and even managed people while working at an assisted living. But my favorite part of my job has been networking with other professionals. Some have even asked me for advice about how to present something or how to get more people to events. I have found much joy out of helping people plan their presentations, promote events, and offer advice.

I would like to work in marketing or the advertising side of the business to help companies increase their net-worth through these channels. I could do this through market research and other skills that I will learn while I am completing my degree. I would want to be involved in the strategic planning for these companies. This would allow me to see what people are looking for and help them out on a more professional level.

It would be a dream to own my own marketing consulting firm one day. But that will be way in the future. Right now I can’t wait to get out into the work force with my skills from school and learn even more on the job. Working on branding and advertising for a company would be something I am also interested in. I would not be opposed to working for a start up. Really taking something from the ground up and watching it grow would be amazing to me.

I guess for now I will continue to work as hard as I can and graduate. Take it one step at a time. I will continue to look for the best place to work when I graduate because I do want to move up in the industry that I am in or another. I know that I give my job 110% and will do that in my future career after college too!
